If you live overseas now

If you live overseas, you may be able to keep getting some or all of your New Zealand Superannuation or Veteran’s Pension.

What you’ll get

How much you’ll get depends on:

  • which country you live in, or are going to live in
  • the arrangement or agreement New Zealand (NZ) has with that country
  • how long you’ve lived in NZ.
For help and advice about your NZ Superannuation ((NZ) Super) or Veteran’s Pension when you live overseas, contact the International Services team at Work and Income.

They’re available Monday to Friday between and (NZ time).
