Accreditation Council

The Accreditation Council (previously known as Telarc) works with businesses of all sizes, from one-person operations to major corporations and government departments. The certification programmes used have been developed internationally, nationally or within industry.

The Council audits against management system standards for:

  • quality
  • environment
  • greenhouse gas emissions
  • occupational health and safety
  • food contact packaging
  • rail safety
  • Forest Stewardship Council
  • Programme for the Endorsement of Forest Certification Chain of Custody.

It also performs independent audits for the Accident Compensation Corporation.
