Mercury NZ Ltd is an electricity generator and energy retailer.

They own and operate the Waikato hydro scheme, consisting of 9 hydro stations along the Waikato River. They also operate and either own or own in partnership with Māori land trusts 5 geothermal power stations in the central North Island.

Mercury has a 19.99% stake in Tilt Renewables and is building what will be New Zealand’s largest wind farm, at Turitea in the Manawatu.
