Gambling Commission
An independent statutory decision-making body established under the Gambling Act .
The Gambling Commission:
- licenses casino operators and venues
- approves any changes to casino licences
- hears appeals against decisions
- hears complaints about how the Department of Internal Affairs (DIA) has handled a complaint
- advises the Government on setting the problem gambling levy.
