Radio Spectrum Management

  • provide advice on radio spectrum matters, including legislation, licensing and licence compliance
  • resolve issues of interference
  • plan future use of the radio spectrum
  • represent New Zealand's position in the international coordination of radio spectrum use
  • maintain the Register of Radio Frequencies designed to facilitate spectrum engineering and trading
  • run radio spectrum auctions.
