Congratulatory messages

You can get a congratulatory message for significant birthdays and wedding anniversaries from the Queen and New Zealand dignitaries. This is a free service for all New Zealand citizens and permanent residents who live in New Zealand.

COVID-19 update

When Auckland is at Alert Level 3 or 4 there may be a delay in receiving congratulatory messages from the Auckland Mayor and MPs in the Auckland area. Thank you for your patience.

What congratulatory messages are for

  • preferred first name of the person or people celebrating the event
  • current address for the person or people celebrating the event, including their electorate.
