The Govt.nz app will continue to grow, with planned updates including:

• More services: access more agency services directly in the app.
• Secure in-app messaging and notifications: get notifications though a secure channel rather than a less secure channel, for example, text message, email or letter.
• Digital identity credentials: share your information securely in a digital format. A range of accredited digital identity credentials will be available in the app from government, banks and other trusted organisations.
